Allanleigh is a fictitious village somewhere in the UK in the late 60’s or early 70’s. Set at the end of a country Branch line, Allanleigh has two local industries served by regular trains transporting raw materials, supplies and finished products. Passenger services are also quite frequent.
This small layout is designed to be transported in a small hatch back (Mazda3, Toyota Corolla). It can be quickly erected and dismantled as required. Operation of the railway is by Smart Phone over Wi-Fi using a Raspberry Pi3 interfaced to a Digitrax PR3 and DCS100 Command Controller. Points (Turnouts) are controlled by Digitrax DS64 stationary decoders driving Hattons Point Motors.
